WIKA experts discussed challenges in the field of lifting technology with customers.

“Lifting added value together!” This was the motto of the Hoisting & Lifting Event 2025 organised by WIKA and WIKA Mobile Control (WMC). It took place in the Innovation Center at the headquarters in Klingenberg. 28 customers from the lifting technology industry accepted the invitation.

The event focussed on current developments, challenges and innovations in the field of lifting technology. The day served as a platform for presenting best practices, sharing WIKA technologies as well as industry expertise and exchanging ideas with customers. After the welcome speech by Alexander Wiegand, Sebastian Popp, Deputy Managing Director of the VDMA Construction Equipment and Building Material Machinery association, gave a guest presentation on the developments currently affecting the machine-building industry. This was followed by further presentations and networking opportunities.

Strength in production, innovation and technology also regarding lifting technology

Guests and hosts also extensively discussed market trends in the field of lifting technology. In addition, aspects of automation and digitalisation as well as regulations and safety standards were addressed. The WIKA Group′s strength in production, innovation and technology was also a key topic.

A factory tour as well as a tour of the Innovation Center provided further insights into the world of WIKA. In the Center′s application room, IIoT engine monitoring with sensors from the strategic partner company Asystom was demonstrated. During the dinner that followed, the participants had time to talk about possible joint projects and other collaborations and to round off the day in a relaxed atmosphere.

In conclusion, the Hoisting & Lifting Event was a successful event packed with exciting insights and inspiring discussions.
