It also allows the simultaneous measurement of the force acting on the sensor. Load pins are fixed in the axial direction as well as against rotation. A small gap of about 1\/5 of a millimeter between the axle retainer and the slot ensures that a free bending in the thrust bearing is made possible.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Load pins with welded thin-film sensors can measure both static and dynamic forces. As a result, a wide variety of applications are possible. Furthermore, load pins can be effortlessly integrated into existing systems. Simply exchange the non-measuring, conventional retaining pins with load pins; there&#8217;s no need for a complex new design.<\/p>\n<h2>Load Pins \u2013 Ready for Use in Harsh Conditions<\/h2>\n<p>Harsh environmental conditions are not a problem for load pins. For example, they are widely used in crane systems and lifting gear, guide pulleys and roller bearings, industrial weighing technology, and production automation. They also have the additional advantage of being\u00a0easy to install and maintenance-free.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wika.com\/en-us\/f5301_f53c1.WIKA\" rel=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">load pins of the F53 series<\/a> have been tested by the classification society DNV GL. They meet DNVGL-ST-0377 (Standard for Shipboard Lifting Appliances) and DNVGL-ST-0378 (Standard for Offshore and Platform Lifting Appliances), making them ideal for lifting applications in the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog-stage.wika.cloudpowered.services\/us\/\/products\/level-products\/wiki-measurement-instruments-maritime-vessels\/\">marine and offshore industries<\/a>. Another special feature: WIKA m<span>odels F5301, F53C1, and F53S1<\/span>\u00a0are approved for use in hazardous areas and in stage and event technology.
